> DAY 1 : COURMAYEUR – REFUGE BONATTI

Meeting at 9 AM in Courmayeur. This small village, also knwon as the « italian Chamonix » welcomes us. We go through its old streets before climbing towards the val Sapin ad the refuge Bertone. Walking by a spectacular balcony offering great views on the Mont Blanc, we reach the refuge Bonatti named after the famous italian mountaineer. No baggage tonight.

> DAY 2 : REFUGE BONATTI – LA PEULE

This morning we face the mont Dolent where the three borders meet at its summit until the Grand Col Ferret. At this time, we enter in Switzerland. Nice way down until the pasture land of La Peule where you will learn everything about the famous cheese « raclette ».

> DAY 3 : LA PEULE – CHAMPEX

Nice walk among the small traditionnal villages before climbing up towards the lake of Champex where we can possibly have a swim. The last climb leads us to our comfortable hostel for the night.

 > DAY 4 : CHAMPEX – TRIENT

Nice trail above Martigny and the Rhône valley with multiples vines. Descent to Trient, a small village by the bisse du Trient, a water canal used for agricultural lands. According to the fitness of the group and the weather forecasts, we can possibly hike up to the fenêtre d’Arpette, a more challenging and alpine route. (Your guide will be the only person to decide which route to take).

> DAY 5 : TRIENT – ARGENTIERE

It is now time to go back to France by the Col de Balme where stunning views over the Mont Blanc range await you. The small village of Le Tour far away in the valley is just few steps from Agrentière where we sleep tonight.

> DAY 6 : ARGENTIERE – CHAMONIX

Today we hike in front of the Aiguille Verte and its glaciers. These views are certainely among the most famous in the Chamonix Valley, along the south balcony.

> DAY 7 : CHAMONIX – LES HOUCHES

We take the cable car to Le Brévent and then we hike up to the Aiguillette des Houches where a fabulous view other the valleys and the mountains awaits you. Finally we go down to the village of Les Houches where we can celebrate this trek. End of the trek around 3 PM in the village.

In order to offer you a Tour du Mont Blanc without any trouble, Watse Trekking Mont Blanc suggests you two contracts of insurance with our partner April International Voyage. These contracts are adapted for a trek like the Tour du Mont Blanc.

The Cancellation Insurance contract insures you if you have to cancel your trip before the start or if you missed your flight.

The Multirisk Insurance contract includes:

  • Cancellation before the start and interuption during the trip
  • Missing flight and flight delay
  • Baggages option and personnal belongings included
  • Repatriation and travel insurance all over the world
  • Search and rescue costs until 15 000 €
  • An accident travel insurance
  • Public liability abroad
  • The impossible return and the anticipated return

The cost of these insurances is based on the Tour du Mont Blanc you choose. In order to subscribe to one of this contract, please tick the choosen option when you book your trek !

The price includes :

  • Leading by a professional Mountain Guide
  • Accommodations as said in the program
  • Half board formula in the accommodation said in the program
  • Pick nick lunch prepaired by our Chief cook
  • Dried fruits during the hike
  • Bags transfer every day excepted on day 1 and 4
  • Showers in the accommodations described in the program
The price does not include :

  • Transport to and from the start of the trek
  • Personnal drinks
  • Any supplement for a private or single room in the comfort formula, contact us
  • Eventual private transferts or cable car not included in the program

Le trek était super. Tous les hébergements et la cuisine étaient fantastiques. Sébastien est très expérimenté et il a su partagé ses connaissances et ses informations pendant le Tour. Il a été drôle et généreux, il nous a aussi aidé à relever différents défis et le trek nous a offert des expériences que je n’avais encore jamais vécues. Bien que le dernier jour aurait pu être mieux organisé, je comprend que ça a été difficile étant donné les circonstances et les difficultés. Au final, nous sommes très satisfaits de tous les services et Sébastien a su nous challenger tout en nous gardant toujours en sécurité. Nous voudrions vous remercier pour avoir organiser ce trek. Dès que nous aurons le temps de trier les photos, nous les enverrons à Sébastien. Merci beaucoup encore. Nous planifions déjà le prochain trek avec vous ou n’importe que de l’agence ! Le retour sur notre séjour ne peut être que positif, randonnées et paysages magnifiques, idem pour les gîtes surtout celui du Truc, un guide à l’écoute, qui a su se mettre à notre niveau, attentif et attentionné, qui s’est bien intégré au groupe, qui a bien voulu partager avec nous un peu de ses montagnes et ses connaissances. Une petite semaine hors du temps, c’est ce que je recherchai personnellement et l’objectif est largement atteint. Rendez-vous est pris pour finir l’année prochaine avec notre petit Sébastien, en attendant prenez bien soin de lui….
