“When you stay at a hotel, your money stays in the town. When you sleep in a tent, it stays with the trip organiser, who cuts out lots of middlemen by only having to pay one or two muleteers, to transport tents and provisions. When you stay with the homeowner, your money helps to combat rural exodus and is redistributed to local people!
ALPES ATLAS TREKKING is loosely connected with the Moroccan association "Vivre de ma campagne", whose aim is to fight against exodus from the countryside. We are acting only as a shop window for this Association of Moroccan fellahs (smallholders), to show our support. They are totally independent of us, and if you would like to visit their country, they will handle all the ground arrangements for you, themselves. The Association is well known to us, and we have full confidence in their ability look after you. Click on the link below to enter their website.
ALPES ATLAS TREKKING receives absolutley no benefit at all from your going to Morocco, other than simply the satisfaction of having been of use - by being proactive in inspiring the traveller with a spirit of adventure to immerse himself in another culture, exchanging his own customs for those of his hosts: for a while, at least.
