Conditions of sale
Price:
The “camping tour of Mont Blanc” (€345 with one traditional supper in farm of high mountain pasture), “Classic” tour of Mont Blanc (€495), “Mont Blanc panoramas” (€720), “Lake Annecy panoramas” (€620), “weekend snowshoe glacier hike” (€279/2 days) and “weekend à la carte” (€189/2 days or €279/3 days) treks are all inclusive from the meeting point to the drop-off (7 days/6 nights).

They include: costs of organisation and instruction in the mountain by qualified mountain professionals, transport for your belongings, meals (prepared together for the “Camping tour of Mont Blanc” trek), accommodation either in a two-man tent (to share with another hiker) on the “Bivouac tour of Mont Blanc" trek (you put it up and take it down yourself), or in a refuge, gîte or high-mountain farm on the "Classic" tour of Mont Blanc, or in a **hotel on the "Mont Blanc panoramas", "Lake Annecy panoramas" and “weekend à la carte" holidays, but not the “weekend snowshoe glacier hike” on which the accommodation is in refuges. The price also includes holiday taxes.

Not included: personal expenses (drinks, etc.), the outward and return journey from the meeting and drop-off points, tours, shower (in bivouac only) and supplementary insurance.

Booking:
To book the “Trekking on Mont Blanc” mountain hiking holiday, you must:
1) check the calendar on the page for the package of your choice (Bivouac tour of Mont Blanc, Classic tour of Mont Blanc or Mont Blanc Panoramas) to see that the week of your choice is available.

2) send Alpes-Atlas a 30% deposit or the full balance (along with the full names of all hikers.)

When we receive it, provided there are places available, we will email you as soon as possible a receipt confirming your registration or an immediate refund in full if the holiday is fully booked for the date you have chosen. The balance must be paid no less than 21 days before the departure date. A holiday not paid for by the scheduled dates may be cancelled, and deposits not refunded. If you register less than 21 days before the day of departure, the full balance should be paid when you make your booking request.

In the event that Alpes Atlas Trekking cancels:
Alpes Atlas Trekking reserves the right to modify or cancel the “Bivouac Trekking on Mont Blanc” mountain hiking holiday if the group’s safety risks being compromised, and as a result of any transport or accommodation problems or a lack of staff. If the weather, snow conditions or serious and unforeseen events put the group’s safety at risk, the instructors reserve the right to modify the programme, without the participants being entitled to a refund.
If Alpes Atlas Trekking were to cancel a “Trekking on Mont Blanc” mountain hiking holiday, it would refund the sums paid in full and would not be entitled to any compensation. You would be informed at least four days before the day of departure for the mountain hike.
In the event that Alpes Atlas Trekking instructors cancelled the "Trekking on Mont Blanc" mountain hiking holiday (for weather reasons or for any other reason), you would be refunded on a pro rata basis for the days of the mountain hike not completed and for any costs incurred.
Alpes Atlas Trekking reserves the right to ask a participant to interrupt their "Trekking on Mont Blanc" mountain hiking holiday if he or she has an insufficient technical level or physical condition; he or she would not be entitled to a refund.
In the event that you cancel:
If you cannot take part, the sums of money retained by Alpes Atlas Trekking will be calculated as follows:
cancellation 30 or more days before departure: €25 per person for handling costs.
30 to 22 days: 25 % of the holiday
21 to 15 days: 50 % of the holiday
14 to 8 days: 75 % of the holiday
7 to 2 days: 90 % of the holiday
2 or fewer days: 100% of the holiday
Any delay at the departure point for the “Trekking on Mont Blanc” mountain hiking holiday or abandonment during the holiday does not entitle participants to any refund by us.

Police and health procedures:
All participants must comply with the police, customs and health procedures in the countries visited (ID card, authorisation, visa, vaccines, etc.). Information is provided as a guideline only; Alpes Atlas Trekking can accept no liability for it. Not complying with these regulations during a “Trekking on Mont Blanc” mountain hiking holiday is the responsibility of the participant alone, and he or she will have to pay any costs incurred.

Specific feature of the holiday:
All participants must comply with the recommendations and instructions given by the guide/mountain instructor. Alpes Atlas Trekking cannot be held responsible for incidents, accidents and bodily injury which may result from an imprudent decision on the part of the individual. The instructors remain the only judges who are able to modify the programme during the holiday according to weather and mountain conditions, the fitness of the participants and technical skills.

Civil responsibility:
Alpes Atlas Trekking cannot substitute for anyone’s individual liability; check with your insurer that you still have a valid contract.
Insurance:
Alpes Atlas Trekking offers you the chance to take out a multi-risk cancellation insurance contract which provides for the refund of your holiday in the event of serious illness immediately prior to your departure or the death of a family member, etc. The assistance and repatriation insurance contract offered by Alpes Atlas Trekking covers search and rescue costs (such as the helicopter and medical transport) resulting from mountain hiking and incurred in transporting you as far as the nearest competent hospital.

Complaints:
The signatory certifies that he or she has read the descriptive sheet concerning their holiday and accepts the general conditions of sale.
In the event of difficulties of interpretation and of the above provisions, the parties will try to amicably resolve any complaints which arise between themselves. In the event that no agreement can be reached, jurisdiction will be granted to the Annecy commercial court (tribunal de commerce d’Annecy).
Any complaint concerning the holiday must be sent by recorded delivery, with acknowledgement of receipt, less than one month after the date of return.
