Lake Annecy
These hiking weekends lasting two or three days around Lake Annecy are designed around a basic formula costing €189 for two days or €279 for three, all inclusive (accommodation, food, professional instruction and transport to the start of the trail), to which you can add the activities below. Your guide will therefore adapt the day hike so that your chosen activity fits into your walk.
For instance, you can set out in snowshoes and return with sled dogs...
Set out by bike or roller skates on the flat cycle track running around Lake Annecy, meet up with your guide and go for a half-day hike with him, then come back by bike (or in the minibus if you're tired)...
Reach the start of the trail by boat, come back down the mountain in a paraglider or a raft…
Leave by balloon and come back orienteering with your guide…
It’s up to you to put together your weekend as you wish, with or without additional activities.

Getting to Annecy:
Besides the public buses that run between Geneva and Annecy, there is now a shuttle bus service from Geneva airport: see http://www.alp-line.com/. AlpLine also provide transport from Grenoble, and other cities. Flights from the UK to Geneva are available with some ‘no-frills’ airlines, such as Easyjet (www.easyjet.com).
